As 2023 draws to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the challenges and triumphs that 2023 has brought to our community. This year, we’ve witnessed the unwavering strength and resilience of countless families who have faced financial hardships. Now, as we approach the holiday season, we have an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Can you imagine having to ration your diapers because here it is Wednesday, and you won’t see a paycheck until Friday? Rose found herself in that same situation when she came to our office for assistance to pay her utilities. Her baby’s diaper was so full one of our staff asked if she would like to use the changing table to change her baby. Rose stated to our staff that she couldn’t change the baby yet because her husband wouldn’t get paid until Friday and she was spacing out diaper changes so she would have enough diapers to last until payday.
In these trying times, we are excited to launch our “Bringing Hope to Families in Need” Year-End Campaign, and we invite you to join us in
